CONCEPT:Proposing an architecture as a recording device. The recording device heightens awareness of place by amplifying site surroundingsthrough vision and sound. PROJECT EXPOSITION:The recording device consists of three cones of dierent materiality puncturing a public lobby space.A concrete cone anchors the cinemas to the ground. habiTECH2013 aims to design and builda sustainable and ecient home thatis based onintegrity, service, and trust. We hope to create a home that comfortably suits all of theneeds of theAlbrion familywhile maintaining a sense of exibility that allows thehome to change as the needs of the family change.
OUR MISSION...
The design began as a mass of program split into public and private spacesthat shifted to create transitional spaces, then oriented to address the street and sun angles. Sustainable aspects, such as photo voltaic panels, natural ventilation, water harvesting, and day lighting are incorporatedaccording to energy simulation analysis.

LILY WINDOW INSTALLATIONTHIRD YEAR STUDIO: Spring 2012LOCATION: Louisiana Tech School of Architecture
The process began by simplifying the image to eleven colors in photoshop through pixelation. The pixelated image was then placed in Grasshopper utilizing the image sampler denition to recreate the image with four hundred boles lled with dyed water. The light needed to create an image now comes from the natural daylighting of the Southwestern sun. The collaboration of polycarbonate diamond form and wood blocking create a diagrid style structure that holds over 420 pounds of water. The use of the polycarbonate structure makes the boles appear as if they are simply pixels oating in the window.
