CONDITIONS OF SALE All stock is sold under the Conditions of Sale as recommended for use at Markets by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, The Society of Valuers and Auctioneers, The National Farmers’ Union of England and Wales, The British Veterinary Association. A copy of these Conditions is exhibited in the Market and it is assumed Vendors and Purchasers will be conversant with the contents. All Ewes are guaranteed as to Age, Tooth & Udder. Purchasers must inform the Auctioneers of any discrepancy or inaccuracy by 10am on Monday 1st October 2018 and the vendor is responsible for any breach of warranty under the National Conditions of Sale. The Auctioneers ruling shall be final and binding upon both vendor and purchaser. The Auctioneers accept no liability whatsoever for any claim in respect of sheep presented for sale as having been vaccinated against Bluetongue disease. Any vendor offering vaccinated sheep must present a personal warranty/declaration. The Order of Sale in the Catalogue has been made as in previous years. In the Yearling Section, last year’s vendors have been moved forward 3 places and new vendors have been placed in the start with their places drawn by lot. In all other sections last year’s vendors have been moved forward in a similar way and new vendors have been placed at the beginning and end in the Two and Three Year Old Sections and at the end in the Older Section, with their places drawn by lot. In the Ewe Lamb Section, last year’s vendors have been moved forward 3 places and new vendors have been placed in the start with their places drawn by lot. The Auctioneers hope vendors will accept that this method will give regular users of the sale a fair share of positions.
