JPSM Reviewer acknowledgements 2006
As Editorial Team of the Journal of Purchasing andSupply Management, we rely on the support of numerouspeople. The Editorial Review Board is the primary‘sounding-board’ for us as Editors and for Elsevier aspublisher to discuss the strategic and long-term direction ofthe Journal. The Editorial Advisory Board consists of pastEditors and experts in fields linked to purchasing andsupply (e.g. business marketing, or operations manage-ment) but who would not regard JPSM as at the core oftheir field of expertise. The key role of the EditorialAdvisory Board is to provide a link to the majorcontributing disciplines to our area of research.
The people, however, that provide the most direct andmost regular support to the Journal, are obviously ourreviewers. JPSM relies not only on Editorial Review Boardmembers to conduct reviews, but also on a large panel ofdiligent, constructive and responsive reviewers. Typically, areviewer handles two-three new manuscripts each year, andobviously any possible revisions of these. In addition, foreach issue, we also invite one person to review a book.
Space does not permit us to list all of these reviewers ineach separate Journal issue, but as a token of our sincereappreciation we publish an overview of the reviewers thathave been active over the past year in the final issue of eachvolume. We are grateful for your services.
