Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management 12 (2006) 345–346 Editorial JPSM Reviewer acknowledgements 2006 As Editorial Team of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, we rely on the support of numerous people. The Editorial Review Board is the primary ‘sounding-board’ for us as Editors and for Elsevier as publisher to discuss the strategic and long-term direction of the Journal. The Editorial Advisory Board consists of past Editors and experts in fields linked to purchasing and supply (e.g. business marketing, or operations manage- ment) but who would not regard JPSM as at the core of their field of expertise. The key role of the Editorial Advisory Board is to provide a link to the major contributing disciplines to our area of research. The people, however, that provide the most direct and most regular support to the Journal, are obviously our reviewers. JPSM relies not only on Editorial Review Board members to conduct reviews, but also on a large panel of diligent, constructive and responsive reviewers. Typically, a reviewer handles two-three new manuscripts each year, and obviously any possible revisions of these. In addition, for each issue, we also invite one person to review a book. Space does not permit us to list all of these reviewers in each separate Journal issue, but as a token of our sincere appreciation we publish an overview of the reviewers that have been active over the past year in the final issue of each volume. We are grateful for your services.
