of God Winter Bible Study 2022

A continuation of this Bible Study on the character of God as revealed in selected Psalms on Sundays,

February 27, March 6 and 13 at 5:00 p.m. on our social media channels.

Our Winter Bible Study on Psalms the Character of God has been a tremendous success. Thank you for your willingness to watch and participate in the study each week. If you are watching on one of the social media platforms, please share the study on your page. The final three sessions will be taught by Ryan Gray, Chuck Ashley, and Dale Huff. Also, if you have missed a session, please know this entire study is still available online and you may watch it at any time. Work on our buildings continues and we should gain access to the Scott Street entrance and reception desk area in the next few weeks. We are grateful for your patience and thankful for your faithfulness dur-ing these difficult days. Much work remains to be done and as we have stated before, the main sanctu-ary will probably be the last area that will be com-pleted. Please continue to pray for all those that are working on our buildings. Pray for direction, pro-gress, and safety as they accomplish the task. We are also rejoicing that at the time of writing this article, COVID numbers are falling across our state and nation! Please pray that this trend will con-tinue and we will see better and better days ahead. Please be safe and wise and participate with us in person or online, which ever you wish. Ladies, I hope you have made your reservation for our FBC Women on Mission “Fan Into Flame” event, Tuesday, March 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Student Center. We are honored to have Sandy Wisdom-Martin, director/treasurer of the National WMU, and the Reed Sisters as our guests. At press time, a few seats remain but contact Pat Thurman at 241-5130 or pthurman@montgomeryfbc.org and check availabil-ity. Finally, I’m excited that we will once again be able to have Adult Vacation Bible School together in person, May 23-25, 2022, in the Senior Adult Center. Together this unique Bible study will teach us that we are created in Christ and designed for God’s pur-pose. I do hope you will mark your calendar now and plan to join us in May. In Christ,

Congratulations to the Poundstone Class for recently funding the construction of the Baptist Church in Serra de Umari, Pernambuco, Brazil.

This small town now has a beautiful temple (building) in which to worship our Lord and Savior.
