Natural Disaster

Today A man who teaches business came to us and told us a story about a natural disaster. He talked to us about a Tsunami which hit Sri Lanka whilst he was there and what he experienced. It was an interesting and long story.

When the story was over my group and I started making a video on a natural disaster, the natural disaster my group and I chose was the tsunami in Japan. I did the research found and found some facts on the Tsunami which hit Japan. We weren't able to finish it before we left to Georgetown but luckily we had some more time when we got back and a bit the next day.

Flags

When we got to Georgetown the first thing we did was a flag activity where we learnt about flags and their meanings. For example:

White = Peace

Red = Blood

Green = Nature

etc

Lunch

The second thing we did there was have lunch, the food wasn’t to bad or good it was okay. I preferred the CMU food which in my opinion tastes better.

Scavenger Hunt

The third and final activity we did was a scavenger hunt. We were all meant to get into groups and each group was given a sheet of paper which we were supposed to get answered and signed by the students. It was fun but we couldn’t finish it.

IB Learner Profile

Today I think the IB learner profile I showed was communicator because if a question was asked I would answer as best I could. I also tried to answer as many questions as possible, even though I didn’t know the answer sometimes I would at least try.
