Joseph Rafidi is a well-known personality in Youngstown, Ohio. His useful lectures on diabetes have changed the lives of many people who had lost all hopes to get back to normal. He is a diabetes patient himself and very well knows how important it is have information about the initial symptoms and cures of the disease. Right from the warning signs, preventive measures, herbal remedies, to medical treatments and more, in his lectures he talks about everything related to this disease that can help patients in some or the other way. With the aim to spread awareness about this life-threatening disease, he also talks about his personal experience and how crucial it is to face the obvious signs of diabetes without losing hope.

Before being diagnosed with diabetes, Joseph Rafidi was a dedicated credit counselor. Prior to that, he owned a small law boutique in Youngstown, Ohio, and worked there as an independent attorney. After practicing law for many years, he bid adieu to this profession and started a counseling service to help people with a poor credit score. His useful tips and suggestions helped a number of people improve their credit score and become eligible for loans. He closely analyzed the past and present financial situations of his clients and accordingly put forward the most appropriate solutions. Rafidi was also a SCORE volunteer and mentor. To help business owners grow, he guided them through seminars, workshops, and even offered online assistance. Unfortunately due to health issues he had to limit his work.

However health issues could not stop Joseph Rafidi from performing his duty towards the society. Presently is an active member of various local organizations that work for the betterment of the society. He supports a number of social causes, awareness camps, and welfare programs. He has also showed his involvement in various community works that aim at the all-round development of the society He is a member of the South County Democratic Club, which aims at supporting progressive democratic values and helping the community develop politically, socially, and environmentally. Besides, he is linked to the Curbstone Coaches and the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is actively involved in the politics as well. Till now, he has run more than thirty-five political campaigns.
