the smartest creative solutions start with asKing the smartest Questions. beFore any creative development begins, we initiate a detailed brand audit oF available research and marKet activity, Followed by Question audits both inside and outside the client’s business. worKing with the client, we use this inFormation to craFt a simple but actionable creative worK plan that answers these very important Questions:

a Flat retainer that covers all oF our time and internal charges, all marK-ups and media commissions, leaving only our outside costs, i.e. media, production, photography, digital outputs, and outside suppliers, to be paid by the client. this allows For a more consistent expense Flow For the client over the course oF the year and a more Forecastable income For us.

a retainer plus marKup/commission. this plan charges a monthly retainer For account management, conceptual and creative development, media planning and clerical. once creative worK goes beyond the rough conceptual stage, the client is charged For production hours and materials bought From outside suppliers (which are marKed up the standard 17.65%). every Job outlines these time and marK-up charges in a detailed estimate, which is approved beFore Further creative worK begins. when media is purchased For the client, we receive a 15% commission.
