T hroughout the month of November we will be discussing

chronic inf lammation and it’s connection to many serious illnesses including; heart disease, many cancers, Alzheimers, IBS, Inf lammatory bowel disease, depression, anxiety, autoimmune disorders, diabetes and many more chronic illnesses. We all know inf lammation on the surface of the body as local redness, heat, swelling and pain. It is vital to the body’s healing response, bringing more nourishment and more immune activity to a site of injury or infection. But when inf lammation persists or serves no purpose, it damages the body and causes illness. Stress, lack of exercise, genetic predisposition, and exposure to toxins (like secondhand tobacco smoke) can all contribute to such chronic

AUGUST IS

THE IMPORTANCEOF SLEEPMONTH

W ithout proper rest we become fatigued, irritable and pain management becomes di cult. This month’s

focus is to overcome the a ictions caused by lack of sleep. By educating ourselves on this simple, yet devastating root to many potential problems in our daily practice, we gain the insight to be less vulnerable to the bigger challenges that lie ahead.

SCANNING

MODELING

WAREHOUSE

Our in-store pedorthis will help get an accurate scan of your feet to be sent off to the warehouse for modeling.

Once the scan is complete the data is then relayed to our Warehouse fa cilty in Gresham where it can be processed from a 2D scan to a workable 3D model.

The 3D model is then processed for construction and sent to our EVA department where it is milled and refined to your unique foot shape.

Once the EVA is complete, topping is added for extra support and durability. The orthotics are then inspected for abnormalities by our Quality Control department, packed with care, and then shipped.

Initially you body will need time to adjust to this new “foot posture”. It is very important that you follow the recommended break-in program to prevent any unnecessary discomfort or injury.

INSERT

What are OrthoticsOrthotics are shoe inserts that correct body misalignment and irregular walking patterns. Custom fitted orthotics are perfectly and specifically fitted to the contours of your feet. Custom supports fit the exact shape of your feet, defusing pressure points and painful areas by redistributing your body weight. Supports that do not fit the shape of your foot, like the generic pads found in any typical shoes, can result in increased pressure on the heel and/or the ball of foot. Personalized orthotics improve the way you walk by correcting the angles at which the foot strikes the ground, increasing efficiency and comfort of your stride and stance.

TOP COVERTop cover selected for you based on individual needs and provides cushioning.
