Learning & Teaching Innovation Grants:Initial Bidding Process(i)
The initial submission document is lightweight with strict word limits to speed the writing and reading of bids. This cuts down on time invested by bidders where bids outweigh funds by about 7:1
Due to the large number of bids expected there will be minimal feedback on unsuccessful bids.
Initial submissions using the template to [email protected] will get confirmation email, If you do not get this email confirmation, please get in touch with [email protected]. Make sure you submit your bid before the deadline. Late bids will not be considered.

Learning & Teaching Innovation Grants:Frequently Asked Questions (i)
Q:What does JISC consider “innovative”? A: - unique or pioneering – something that has not been done
previously.- could be considered to be a "high-risk" intervention.-using innovative technologies or practice to directly benefit learning or the learning process?
Q:What institutional contribution is required, and how should this be evidenced?
A: - Contribution should be proportional to the value to the college/ wider community.-Evidence should be maintained by the project and available on request.
Q: What level of detail is required in the initial submission? A: The initial submission documentation is designed to reduce
the burden of submitting, if you can’t briefly describe the project it probably isn’t suitable for LTIG.
