Jude and Sidra presented the whole group with the results of the Primary meeting

where they discussed a house charity idea each...

House Charities

In house teams Buxton Voices did some research, using the

internet on IPads, to help decide on a charity that each house

could support.

Each team created a Mind Map and started to make notes

about the life of their house hero.

They each found a way to connect their house hero with a

cause that could raise awareness of issues they faced.

their class, Heads of House, The Leadership

Team and School Governors.

Buxton Charity - Charity Founder Committee

funds for our chosen charities.

The purpose of the Committee

We are a team that works together, showing a large amount of teamwork.

We are a Think Tank

We’re here to support students with fund raising ideas.

Having regular meetings and decide what event we will hold, such as a marathon,

cake sale etc..

Each event would take place every half term. (6 events each year)

To work with chosen charities each half-term.

To connect students with other students & teachers & the community.
