pop-in program. Each week, we will be coloring
pictures that show different parts of Union soldier

HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS: DEFENDING THE CHAIN BRIDGE Sunday, Aug. 30, 7 - 7:45pm During the Civil War, the Union Army viewed Chain Bridge as the most likely route for a Confederate invasion of Washington. In late August, their fears were almost realized when the Confederate victory at the Second Battle of Bull Run left Washington open to attack.
