Lamesa Community Players Presents
Wait Until Dark March 31, April 1 & April 2
Tickets are available Monday through Friday
from 4 - 6pm and 2 hours before curtain times. Tickets are $10.00 each and we accept cash,
check and credit cards.
Each year wildfires pose a significant threat for
Texas communities. High winds and dry
conditions can set the stage for potentially
severe fires. In the past 10 years, wildfires
burned over 9.3 million acres statewide. No
region of the state is immune to wildfires.
Wildfires continue to threaten people and
property across Texas. People and their activities
cause more than 90% of all wildfires in Texas.
The largest number of human-caused wildfires
are a result of careless debris burning. Other
causes of wildfires include sparks from welding
and grinding equipment, carelessly discarded
smoking materials, vehicles exhaust systems and
arson. With the winds and warmer temperatures
approaching please be aware of the fire dangers
and do your part to help prevent wildfires.
