Join hosts Peter Marshall and Nick Clooney to enjoy Perry Como’s hit songs from long-lost and restored episodes of his 1950s-1980s TV shows. Carol Burnett, Regis Phil-bin, Jay Leno and others offer tributes.

Nature : Sex, Lies and Butterflies

Butterflies have been flying around our planet for more than 50 million years, and today around 20,000 different species in-habit the globe. Nature: Sex, Lies and But-terflies follows their lives from egg to cat-erpillar to chrysalis to the emergence of the full-blown, winged creature. Explore their astonishing survival techniques, including 360° vision, deceptive camouflage, chemical weaponry and fantastic flight. Through so-phisticated macro-filming, look beyond the butterflies’ bright colors and fragile beauty to follow them on one of the greatest migra-tions on earth.

DONATE YOUR CAR, TRUCK, OR RV TO HELP KRWG!

INTRODUCING KRWG’S INDIA PHILLIPSBy Katherine Longoria, KRWG Student Intern

There is a new face and voice at KRWG television and radio, helping to spread the messages of local businesses to Southern New Mexico and West Texas. India Phillips joined the KRWG family as an underwriting sales representative in April and is already working with businesses to get their mes-sages on radio and TV as part of their marketing plans.

Phillips is an NMSU alumna, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications graduating with University Honors, and recognized by the National Society for Collegiate Scholars and Alpha Chi Hon-or Society. Before college, Phillips spent four years in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Specialist.

Originally from Chicago, Phillips ended up in El Paso with the military. In May 2016, Phillips moved to Duluth, Minn., for an internship at the Lake Superior Maritime Visitors Center for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. After earning her NMSU degree the follow-ing spring, India was promoted to a full-time museum manager. But she missed the desert heat and decided to move back to Las Cruces with her family.

Phillips has followed PBS for quite some time. “I used to watch PBS with my kids all the time. My favorite shows to watch with them were Arthur, Dragon Tales and Dinosaur Train. When I was a kid I loved watching Reading Rainbow, Masterpiece Theater and, of course, Sesame Street,” she said. “My favorite part about working for KRWG is knowing that I am helping provide an amazing service for the community.”

Please join everyone at KRWG welcoming India back to the community, and we look forward to all the amazing talent and energy she will contribute to the station.
