Program Description
The Event will have 2 paths an attendee can “travel.” One path will be Human
Resource focused and the other will be Payroll focused (using the American Payroll
Association Year-End Curriculum). At the end of both paths, there will be a
TEAM BUILDING EVENT for all attendees. This TEAM BUILDING EVENT will be an
opportunity for Payroll and Human Resource Professionals to learn more about each
profession and share challenges and leadership/work styles. As these two
professional areas are beginning to work together to accomplish Total Employee
Asset Management, an understanding of these nuances is crucial.

Amanda King, SPHR, Founder & Principal, PeopleSavvy HR Group, Inc.
I am the Founder and Principal of PeopleSavvy HR Group. I created PeopleSavvy
HR to provide human resources support to businesses of all sizes.
My clients are large and small but they have one thing in common. It's not easy to
manage people. It's hard to find them; it's hard to retain them; and it's hard to
know if you should let someone go. The toughest blow to a company is finding the
right person, doing everything you can to develop their talent only to see them leave for an
opportunity elsewhere.
I write a blog about my experience with recruiting, on-boarding, positive employee relations,
performance management, and other topics.
Remove your headaches. Start focusing on your dreams. Leave it up to me to resolve your
frustrations.

This end point will be an interactive Speaker Event on Leadership. Because Payroll
and Human Resource Professionals provide leadership to employees and represent
the leadership model for the employee culture of an organization, understanding
leadership is important. Also part of this speaker event will be understanding the
leadership style of these two very different roles in any organization. This will initiate
and promote a conversation and understanding between these professionals so that
they can begin to work in tandem towards a better Total Employee Asset
Management solution.
This event will be led by Karen Young, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Owner, HR Resolutions.
Karen is a Certified Team Builder.
