Mission Raleigh needs your support to provide Food and Christmas joy to our Food Pantry patrons and the needy families & children in The Oaks Community where we serve. We hope to be able to serve 100 families for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Your monetary donations can be placed in an offering envelope and marked for MISSION RALEIGH. For more information contact Dan Thurston or Connie Batchelor. “Whoever is kind to the Poor lends to the LORD, and will be rewarded for what they have done.” Proverbs 19:17 The NCA Legacy Auction is Friday, November 10, at 6:30pm in the Family Life Center. Please join us for food, shopping, and fun! All proceeds will go towards upgrading the playground near the Coffee House. Tickets are $15 and are available in the school office. Childcare will be available. Join us at the OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Packing Party is this Saturday. We’ll meet in the Family Life Center at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 11th to pack and label all the gift shoeboxes that will be given to needy children. After the packing, we’ll enjoy food and fellowship until 6:30pm. We’ll also hear amazing testimonies from shoebox recipients about how Operation Christmas Child changed their lives! For dinner, please bring two of your favorite Christmas finger foods or party foods (both savory items or one savory item and one dessert) with enough to feed your family plus 2-3 others.
