April 10 – Amsterdam, Volendam, EdamAfter breakfast, enjoy a scenic morning cruise through the historicharbor and canals of Amsterdam. See the beautiful homes thatline the water, the fabled Skinny Bridge, and the famous housewhere Anne Frank spent years in hiding during World War II. Later,enjoy a panoramic city tour that includes a windmill and othericonic landmarks. Return to the ship for lunch while you cruise theIjsselmeer towards Volendam. Enjoy a late afternoon tour ofVolendam Harbor where you can see the fishing fleet and thehistoric fish auction building. Continue by motor coach to Edam, apicturesque town with a rich historic past. You will have a walkingtour of the Old Quarter’s beautiful houses, canals, bridges andchurches, including one of the largest in Holland, the Grote Kerk(Great Church).

April 11 – Arnhem, NijmegenArrive in beautiful Arnhem early this morning and see the Battle ofArnhem Bridge made famous by the classic film A Bridge Too Far.You’ll also visit the Airborne Museum to learn more about theBattle of Arnhem, one of the major campaigns of World War II. Ifyou would prefer, you may instead enjoy a tour of the moststunning royal residence in Holland, Het Loo Palace, with lavishlyfurnished rooms and meticulously sculpted gardens. After yourtour, return to the ship for lunch while you cruise to Nijmegen forsome free time. Enjoy scenic cruising this evening as you sailthrough the Netherlands en route to Belgium.

April 12 – Antwerp, BelgiumThis morning, enjoy a walking tour of Antwerp and see AntwerpCastle, Grote Market, Brabo Fountain and the city’s superbarchitecture. The afternoon is free to explore Antwerp on your ownor take an optional excursion to nearby Brussels, the capital ofBelgium and site of NATO headquarters. After dinner, your shipdeparts for Ghent.

April 13 – Ghent After breakfast, take a guided walking tour of Ghent, which includessuch highlights as the Belfry Hall, the Koornlei, the Graslei, and theCastle of the Counts. This afternoon you may take an optionalexcursion to Bruges, one of Europe’s most perfectly preservedmedieval cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Early thisevening, cruise through the Dutch region of Zeeland, home to oneof the world’s most complex engineering projects, the Delta Works,which took more than 30 years to complete.

April 14 – Willemstad, The Netherlands – Kinderdijk –SchoonhovenThis morning we will stop in the charming 400-year-old town ofWillemstad for a walking tour and special organ recital at the oldestProtestant church in the Netherlands. In the afternoon, you will visitthe UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kinderdijk, a lovely villagerenowned for having the country’s greatest concentration ofwindmills, all dating from the 18th century. Tonight the ship cruisesto Schoonhoven, where we will moor overnight.

April 15 – Amsterdam- Keukenhof - AmsterdamWe arrive in Amsterdam today. Admire the spectacular display ofmillions of flowering tulips during your morning excursion to thefamous 70-acre Keukenhof Gardens. In the afternoon, enjoy anexcursion to delightful Zaanse Schans, a small historic village justoutside of Amsterdam. The ship moors overnight in Amsterdam.
