FIELD INFORMATION AND ARE APPROXIMATE ONLY. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE THEIR EXACT LOCATION
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND PROVIDE IN WRITING ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE ENGINEER.
5. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY DURING CONSTRUCTION TO PROTECT ANY EXISTING UTILITIES.

CONSTRUCTION, AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO OWNER.
8. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REPLACE ANY EXISTING LANDSCAPING (I.E. SOD, BUSHES, TREES, PAVERS, ETC.),
SPRINKLER PIPING, SPRINKLER HEADS AND FENCING THAT MAY HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR HAS BEEN DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
CONTRACTOR TO REPLACE OR REPAIR ANY DAMAGED PROPERTY OR IMPROVEMENTS TO A CONDITION EQUAL TO OR BETTER THAN
EXISTED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
9. ALL DRIVEWAYS, SIDEWALK, AND OTHER EXISTING FACILITIES, UTILITIES, AND IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE RESTORED EQUAL TO
PRE-CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS OR BETTER AND TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE OWNER.
10. ANY PROPERTY CORNER WITHIN THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION IS TO BE PROTECTED. IF A CORNER MONUMENT IS IN DANGER OF BEING
DISTURBED THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROPERLY REFERENCE ITS LOCATION TO BE RESET BY THE CONTRACTOR'S FLORIDA LICENSED
SURVEYOR, ANY SURVEY MONUMENTS AND PRIVATE PROPERTY CORNER DISTURBED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES SHALL BE REPLACED
BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN COST.
11. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO ADJUST ALL VALVE BOXES, MANHOLE RIMS, GRATES, ETC. AS NECESSARY TO MATCH PROPOSED
GRADES.
12. DAMAGE TO EXISTING UTILITIES AND PROPERTY DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE REPAIRED AND/OR REPLACED AT CONTRACTOR
EXPENSE.
13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE 72 HOURS WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD, OWNER'S CEI REPRESENTATIVE, AND
COLLIER COUNTY PROJECT MANAGER PRIOR TO THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
a. COMMENCEMENT
b. CHANGES TO APPROVED SCHEDULES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RESIDENT SUPERINTENDENT
c. TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF BYPASS PUMP SYSTEM
d. TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT FORCEMAIN PRESSURE TESTS
e. PUMP STATION START-UP
14. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY COLLIER COUNTY UTILITIES DEPARTMENT AT LEAST THREE FULL WORK DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ALL
PLANNED SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, AND RECEIVE COUNTY PROJECT MANAGER'S APPROVAL BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH PLANNED
INTERRUPTIONS.
15. SHOP DRAWINGS FOR ANY EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION.
16. CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN, ON THE WORK SITE, COPIES OF ALL PERMITS NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION.
17. CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN FROM THE ENGINEER OF RECORD AND COUNTY PROJECT MANAGER WRITTEN APPROVAL FOR ANY
DEVIATIONS FROM THE PLANS AND/OR SPECIFICATIONS.
18. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROMPTLY REPORT ALL FIELD CHANGES TO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD AND CEI REPRESENTATIVE.
19. CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR STORING ALL MATERIALS FOR THE PROJECT INCLUDING ALL MATERIALS PURCHASED BY
COLLIER COUNTY IN SECURE STORAGE AREA.
20. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING UTILITY SERVICE AT ALL TIMES DURING CONSTRUCTION WITHIN THE PROJECT LIMITS.
THIS INCLUDES HAVING A SUPPLY OF REPAIR MATERIALS ONSITE THAT MATCHES EXISTING IN THE EVENT OF A BREAK.
21. CONTRACTOR WILL BE EXPECTED TO PROVIDE A TWO (2) WEEK LOOK AHEAD FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND ATTEND WEEKLY
OR BI-WEEKLY MEETINGS AT THE COUNTY'S DISCRETION.
22. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT LEAVE TRENCHES OR HOLES OPEN OVERNIGHT OR OVER WEEKENDS.
23. ALL CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS AND OTHER WASTE MATERIAL SHALL BE DISPOSED OF OFFSITE IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE
REGULATIONS.
24. WORK AREAS ARE TO BE CLEANED ON A DAILY BASIS.
25. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING RIGHT-OF-WAY, TREE REMOVAL, AND DEWATERING PERMITS IF REQUIRED.
26. ACCESS ONTO EXISTING STREETS AND DRIVES SHALL BE MAINTAINED TO LOCAL TRAFFIC AND PROPERTY OWNERS, RESPECTIVELY.
CONTRACTOR SHALL LIMIT CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ROADWAYS.
27. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH TO THE ENGINEER RECORD DRAWINGS CERTIFIED BY A FLORIDA LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR AND
MAPPER. THE INFORMATION SHALL DEPICT THE AS-BUILT LOCATION OF ALL IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, CONDUITS,

Electrical Improvement Notes:
1. Remove the (2) existing 3 HP Motortronics VFDs in the existing
pump control panel and furnish to County Wastewater Collections
staff.
2. Furnish and install (2) LSIS S100 MODEL 0040 EMC TYPE 7.5HP,
230V, 3-Phase VFDs.
3. A minimum vertical clearance of 4" shall be provided on the top and
bottom of the VFDs.
4. Contractor to adjust other components, if necessary, to maintain
appropriate clearance.
5. The existing electrical service, pump control panel, main breaker,
and VFD input breakers to remain.
Existing (2) 3 HP VFDs to be removed and furnish to Collier County Wastewater Collections staff.
Proposed (2) 7.5 HP VFDs to be installed in same location. Existing components to be adjusted, if necessary, to maintain required clearance.
