Election Recounts• Anticipate the possibility of a recount – be prepared

• Always audit ballot reconciliation forms, ATVs,

machine tapes, etc.

• Upon notification by State Board of Elections, schedule,

plan and prioritize recount procedures

• Notify State Board of Elections of recounts of any

local contests or discretionary recounts
