Johney Cecil Marrs, 92, of Nederland, died Sunday, September 1, 2019. He was born on April 11, 1927, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Rhoda Frances Warden Marrs and William Arthur Marrs.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Marrs; sons, Michael Marrs and his wife, Rebecca, of Nederland and James Marrs and his wife, Jennifer, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Marrs; Jan Marie Leonard and her husband, Kendall; Stacie Prejean; James David Marrs and his wife, Corine; Mary Leigh Marrs; Brant Hardisty; Mandy Quebodeaux; Laura Lakey and her husband, Bill; John Willard Marrs; and Jamie Allen; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and sister; Danita Marrs Gross and her husband, Ken.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, John Willard Marrs; grandson; Joseph Daniel Marrs; brother, Jack Jerline Marrs; and sister, Marguarite Smith.
