2'rh Annual International FestivalOn Sunday, September 12, 2010, the city will host its annual International Festival inPeabody Square. Our PTO will be there selling delicious fried dough and water. We are inneed of volunteers to set up, help sell, clean up, etc. We are also looking for donations ofvegetable oil, shakers (for the sugar & cinnamon). If you are able to help in any aspect,please contact Brandi Carpenter at BRCARPY@aol.com.

Calling all bakers!On Tuesday, September 16th we will be having a bake sale at the school during the votingprimary. If you are able to bake or volunteer at the booth, please contact JosieRozopoulos at JROZIE@aol.com

• International Festival is Sunday, September 12th from 11:30 AM-5:30 PM• FIRST PTO meeting is Thursday, September 16th, at 6:30 PM in the Cafe.• Parent Orientation Night is scheduled for Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00

PM• Change in lunch price. Lunch is now $3.00 per day. Breakfast $1.00 and

Milk .50.• Volunteers are needed for Breakfast Club & Afternoon Traffic. If interested,

contact Jessica O'Hara• PLEASE NO SMOKING! There is no smoking on school property. This applies

to when you are in your vehicle while in the drive-thru area.• Recycle Program-Send in your boxtops, Capri Sun pouches, Hannaford Dollars

and ink jets!Note: We do not accept large printer cartridges.

Absentee Call-In Program

- When your child is going to be absent or tardy, we request that a parent call the school any timebetween 6:00 PM the night before until 9:00 AM.

- Each school has been provided an ANSWERING SERVICE. This line is used to record studentabsenteeism or tardiness only.
