Climate

Deciduous Forests have four seasons Summer – Mild, ranging around 70 degrees.

Starts in June and finishes in August. Winter – Starts in December. With an average

of below freezing. Deciduous Forests get between 14 inches

during the winter and 18 inches of rain during the summer.

Deciduous Forests, as shown in the graph, are located in the Northeastern part of the U.S., Asia,

Japan, parts of Southern America, Europe to Southwest Russia, some in New Zealand, and parts of

southeastern Australia.

Effects of Humans

POSITIVE NEGATIVE

Humans re-plant trees cut down from clear cutting.

Humans put out forest fires when an outbreak occurs.

Humans clear cut forests causing many animals to lose habitats.

Humans ruin Deciduous Forest by throwing trash out of their car while driving.

We accidentally drop oil into the soil from cars on trails.
