Swedish language has a melancolic flavour of its own and blends perfectly with brazil music, in particular the bossa novas of A. C. Jobim. Bertil Jansson has interpretated some of the best of these songs into swedish with a unique tone and sublte arrangements in the spirit of Jobim. Thomas Clausen and Henrik Mathiassen has also contributed to the arrangements.

1 Flickan från Ipanema (Girl from Ipanema) One of the best known songs of Jobim with a harp solo by Nils Raae, one of the best harpplayers in DK . 2 Mari (Dindi) Very gentle bossa ballad of Jobim with the lyrics referring to a Swedish friend of Bertil. Featuring Nils and Thomas. 3 Evighetens melodi (Desafinado/Off key) In this song Tomas shows why he is rewarded as one of the best jazz musicians in Scandinavia. 4 Lyckans vind (A Felicidade) This was the first recorded song of Jobim. Here it is arranged with a flute part by Torben and a final samba choir. Afonso is also featured playing Rio samba percussion with focus on the small handdrum, bandaro. 5 Snälla ord (Corcovado/Quiet nights of quiet stars) Another of Jobims famous bossa ballads. Here arranged with nice lyrics and a harp solo by Nils. 6 Ljuv poisi (Carioca) One of Jobims less known songs with a nice arrangement and solistic contribution by Thomas and Torben. 7 Åh så arrogant (How insensitive) Still another of the famous Jobim ballads. The translation uniquely reflects the potential conflict in a love affair. 8 En enkel ton eller två (One note samba) Here, Bertil has reflected that this famous Jobim song actually includes two, not one notes in the leading melody. 9 Ja; Jazz och samba (Jazz & samba) This lyrics from Bertil is a nice example of how elegant swedish blends with bossa nova. Brilliant percussion by the brazilian wizard Afonso. 10 Trist (Triste) This song was recorded with the late and highly talented bass player Niels ”Guffy” Pallesen in 2011. In memory of him we included this very intense take where he also provides the percussive part. 11 Inge’ strul (No more blues) A masterpiece by Jobim often played by jazz musicians. The title is an expression from Stockholm meaning no sorrow. Here, Tomas and Thomas both contributes with strong solos. 12 I min ensamhet (Meditation) In this Jobim ballad Bertil nicely describes the melancholic mood of swedish. Fine solo part from Thomas and Kurt 13 Kärlekens Vibration (Wave) This is another very famous song of Jobim. We decided to arrange it in a rather fynky style featuring Tomas as solist 14 Bjergets folk (Favela) This song describes the rather poor but very proud people of the favelas, nicely arranged by Bertil and Henrik. 15 Tårer till kärlekens ord (Falando de Amor) This is one of Jobims newest and most intense ballads with a classic flavour and solo by Thomas Clausen.
