Quality control checks are made at every step of the process from design,
production, Installation until final hand-over is completed. Our experience

project showing hold points, test results and observations as well as any
non-conformances and corrective action taken. Suitably qualified
QA/QC engineers based on site, perform tests using internationally
accepted test methods such as ASTM, ISO, BS and JIS etc. As well as
installation equipment Trepax has a vast array of QC equipment at its
disposal.
Corrosion and Wear Protection
Trepax offers consultancy, development and optimization assistance
within the fields of corrosion technology, corrosion mitigation and
corrosion and wear protection. Our main aim when first engaging with
our clients is to listen to their needs and address the issues and problems
they face, then armed with this information we can then advise on the
correct material selection, planning and installation procedure to give
optimum protection to these corrosive or abrasive environments and to
provide a fully installed engineered solution.
Detailing
Where specifications exist our engineers work with procurement
departments to match our principle systems with the specifications. In
cases where there is no such specification for a product but a design
condition exists then we work with owners, designers and specifiers to
provide the best package that meets the prevailing and future
conditions in line with the project budgets. In all cases experience of
similar projects and our expertise in these areas provide a solid design
foundation for our clients to rely on. Conceptual designs through to
installation are fully supported by design data and documentation.

In certain cases such as fertilizer plants and power plants where high chemical and temperatures are present it is often specified that a high chemical resistant rubber lined system is installed with an acid protective brick or tile lining applied over the rubber, these are highly corrosive, abrasion and temperature resistant systems able to perform in the most harsh and demanding of environments.
