MONTHLY NEWS – MAY
Simon Hoare, MP for North Dorset came to visit Low Energy Designs on Friday 11th May 2018 in
support of our new project to help 'Light up Lagos'.
Our CEO, sat down with Simon to explain the details of project, the positive outcomes for our
business, our suppliers and Lagos and the challenges we, as a small UK business, have faced to
secure this project in Africa.
After discussing the project with CEO, Alan Parker, Simon was introduced to the rest of the staff
whilst being shown around the factory where he even helped assemble an LED light!
Simon said, "Low Energy Designs is such an exciting local business. Dynamic, cutting edge and
doing great business here and overseas. We need more such businesses in North Dorset.
I warmly congratulate them on winning such a huge contract in Nigeria. Brilliant!”
CEO Alan Parker said “ We were delighted to welcome Simon to our facility to discuss our newest
project , tour the factory and to meet our staff. It is always good to see our local MP taking an
interest in local, small businesses such as ours.”
