• We are seeking an experienced full stack developer with a proven track record to join our RiskTech business and spearhead our software product development.

• With 7+ years’ experience in developing and launching software products, you will demonstrate a thoughtful approach to creating products from scratch and an keen eye for bringing client requirements to life.

• The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team leading our software product development, interacting with data scientists, and facilitating the transformation of R&D into products.

• We are currently in the process of scoping and creating software solutions for our clients. As part of these projects and the on-going direction of the business we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to take control and have ultimate responsibility for the technical aspects of these projects.

• You will advise strategically and implement the recommended technical approach for these projects.

• You will take ownership and where appropriate delegate to an external agency.

• As part of this role you will work closely with the data science and research teams to transform their algorithms and insights into client facing software.

• 4-8+ years experience developing and managing software product creation and launches

• An understanding of the on-going software maintenance requirements

• 4-8+ years commercial experience with Java, C#, or a similar modern object oriented language.

• A solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

• An in depth understanding of SQL and associated technologies

• Have demonstrated ability through career to learn new technologies and adapt to new environments and products

• A problem solving nature.

• An ability to think in more than one programming language

• Some knowledge or interest in working with data science teams.

• Interest or opinion in software architecture

• Love writing clean quality code and not just talking about it :)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, whether working independently or in a team

• A strong desire to deliver client outcomes - pragmatic problem solving skills .

• Intellectual curiosity, creativity, work ethic, amenability.

• Self-sufficiency and a team outlook.
