Introduction The Academic Computing Section (ACS) in Information Technology Center under the supervision of the

deanship of Academic Support Services is pleased to announce the New HR job Opportunities website

that was launched recently to public.

This document will guide you the step-by-step process on How to apply for a vacancy posted in the

University of Sharjah’s HR Portal.

To view all jobs posted in the website of University of Sharjah (www.sharjah.ac.ae) , please follow below

steps:

1. Click on the “Job Opportunities” link under “LINKS” section in the Home Page.

2. Click on “More Jobs” Icon as shown below

Then, You will be directed to the home page of HR Job Application Portal as shown below.

The jobs are categorized into three categories as highlighted below:

Leadership Positions

Academic Vacancies

Administrative Vacancies

You can click on the category of Jobs that you are interested to apply in.

Leadership Positions

Any vacancy under the leadership positions is posted with a paragraph called “Application Procedure”

which mentioned the details on how to apply on a leadership vacancy by sending CV and cover letter to

an email or a postal address.

Academic Vacancies

This page will display all academic vacancies, sorted by colleges:

When you click on any vacancy, you can see the Job Details of it and below the “Apply” button.

The application Form for an Academic Vacancy will appear as follows, you need to fill the fields and

attach the CV, and then click on “Submit” button below.

Administrative Vacancies

This page will display all administrative vacancies under colleges, administrative departments or centers.

When you click on any vacancy, you can see the Job Details of it and below the “Apply” button.

The application Form for an Administrative Vacancy will appear as follows, you need to fill the fields and

attach the CV, and then click on “Submit” button below.

Application Submission and Status Once you submit your application/CV, a web page will appear including your application tracking

number as well as an email will be sent to your email including your track number (reference

number).

To track your application status, visit the Home page of Job Application portal and type your

reference/track number and click “submit” as shown below:

Status of the job you have applied to will be provided, examples: ‘Shortlist in Process’ or

‘Shortlisted for First Interview’ or ‘Shortlist for Final Interview’.
