Objectives:

To obtain a leading Safety Officer position in HSE by applying my

knowledge, skills & experience to educate and train employees and

contractors in, safe work practice and to promote a positive culture in the

workplaces towards HSE.

As an HSE Officer, my primary objective is to impart the fullest of my

abilities in ensuring that all employees and contractors comply with the

health, safety, and environmental protocols, standards, rules and

regulations.

My experience as HSE Officer in the DRC has broadened my

understanding and enhanced my skills in conducting risk assessments as

well as developing risk mitigating methods.

My aim is to educate and train all employees and contractors to identify

hazards, to understand their risks and to implement the correct hazard/s

controls.

I also aspire to constantly improve my knowledge and skills in HSE to

cultivate the safest working environment possible for all.

1. To implement and monitor Board Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and

Procedures.

2. To assist in complying with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with

the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect

the safety and health of staff, contractors and visitors.

3. To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the company and with all

contractors.

7. To conduct safety inspection on all projects sites.

10. Assists in responding to and investigating concerns/complaints from workers/employers

Duties:

Supervision of all tire related issues on transport client’s site.

Supervision of 2 on site fitters.

Supervision of all Health Safety & Environmental procedures.

Ordering of new tires.

Surveying tires for a fleet of 76 vehicles. (flat decks, taut liners & side tippers)

Sending tires in for retreading.

Monitoring of tires to ensure tires obtain maximum cpk.
