Jim, has left Watchgeeks, but said he is not leaving the Shop.
He wants to spend more time with family and his other interests.

Life changes. As we develop, our aspirations, vision, goals and objectives change with us. Family and
health usually become more focused as we become older. Not trying to speak for Jim, just my
experiences, things happen for a reason. Jim will be fine.

I may be mistaken, but I thought Jim referenced a new contract with SNBC last year...so I think he's
around for awhile!
Can't blame him for spending more time with the fam.

Honestly, I'm already over this "whatever shall we do without Jim" sentiment. He's not Watch Geeks.
Everything will be all right. Let him go.

Bro life will go on spend time with your family there are many other people who know lot about watches
on this forum if you need to know something that troubles me when a man would miss another man like
that unless he was your Father or brother.

Thinking outside the box, wouldn't it be great to take his show to HSN, down in Florida. He can return to
nicer weather, ride his bike, wax and detail his cars, and sip Pina Colada's with Eyal in the evening's warm
and humid air. Just a thought?

I do not think Jim is doing aything wrong. I do agree family should come first. I wished I did the same
idea when I was working two jobs and had a very active hobby. Lost both jobs within one month and
had to cut back on hobby due to health matters.

I've learned from recent experience that you don't take anything for granted, yourg or older. Family time
does'nt wait for you, it comes & goes way to quickly. Enjoy your family time Jim, pray that all is well.

Jim was a great personality on the site for sure, IMHO his presence will be missed but Geeks is its own
animal and the show will go on without him or any one personality.
Good luck to him I hope he finds what he is looking for.

Not sure but I cannot see a reason he cannot stop in and post. He will take time out to do facebook but
not watchgeeks? No more ownership means no more headaches and dealing with the logistics of the site
etc. He visits HATER sites to see what they say so he can stop that and keep a presence on here. A few
posts a week takes how many minutes, not many?
I am not going to think about why he is leaving just that he could easily stay and simply post every so
often to keep in touch with his base. I mean, the site would be nothing (or 1000x smaller) if Jim did not
advertise watchgeeks.net like a madman on ShopNBC in it's very beginning stages.
Jim should stay and we should all tell him too. Stand up and voice your opinion to the man. People can be
swayed when there is enough voice to be heard.

The main thing I will miss is his "Sneak Peeks" photography. I can always ask him a question through
Facebook.

he said he was spending time with family and other obligations etc... sure, i take it for face value. i also a
realist in that i wouldnt bet my house or paycheck on it either way.
i not stirrin gup anythin gbut let's be realistic...if he WAS leaving he wudnt say it. if he was having
contractual issues he wudnt say it.
same as Daniel Mink and all of Shopnbc said there was nothing going on with Renato losing time and
issues. they just left and then the announcement was made.
If jimleaves you'll know AFTER it's done NOT before.
For now i just watch the shows when i catch em, and live MY life....

Tim will be doing sneak peaks in the future - he is an excellent photographer and I look forward to seeing
his new pictures.
Spending more time with family? Sounds like a politician leaving office.
