holy fighting in Allah's cause utmost importance obligatory duty on every Muslim

Islam is established Allah's word superior Islam is propagated

Abandonment Islam is destroyed Muslims become ingerior hono lost' land stolen rule and authority vanish

holy fighting What makes war holy? Allah ordained it for Muslims in 2.216.

2:216. Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.

Allah commanded Muslims to perform it.

8:39 . And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Moe confirmed the Jihad imperative.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387: Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

Moe also told us what would profane his holy war: embezzling spoils, killing children and mutilating bodies. Embezzlement is stealing from Allah, children are spoils but the prohibition on mutilation seems to

conflict with 8.12.

Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4294 : It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhairs and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muilims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them...

Allah's cause To make his word superior: only Allah has the right to be worshiped. Observe the terminal condition in 8.39: a monopoly on worship. The issue is one of Islamic dominance.

9:33. It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad ) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) hate (it).

Sahih Bukhar Volume 4, Book 52, Number 65

:

Narrated Abu Musa:

A man came to the Prophet and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet said, "He who fights that Allah's Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause."

utmost importance Jihad is the highest peak of Islam: the "apex of its hump".

http://ia600509.us.archive.org/22/items/JamiaTirmidhiSunanAl-tirmidhi/16768046-Jami-a-Tirmidhi-Sunan-alTirmidhi.pdf#page=1290Then, he said, “Shall I not inform you of the head and pillar of the issue and the apex ofits hump?” I said, ‘Certainly, O Messenger of Allah (SAW) .” He said, “Its head is Islam, itspillar is Salah and the apex of its hump is jihad.” Then he said, “Shall I not tell you about

the root of that”? I said, “Certainly, O Messenger of Allah (SAW)!” He held his tongueand said, “Keep it in check.” I asked, “Shall we be taken to task for what we speak withit”? He said, “May your mother weep at you, O Mu’adh! Will people be cast in hell ontheir faces or on their nostrils except as the consequence of their tongues?”[Ahmed 22-77,Ibn Majah 3973]

original religion Jihad is the "originl religion" of Islam. It is an alternative source of income superior to trade, commerce and agriculture. Abandoning Jihad brings down a curse on Muslims.

Sunan Abu Dawid Book 23, Number 3455 :

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

Jihad asghar Practitioners of al-taqutta ckaun tghat qital is the lesser Jihad, inferior to Jihad an-Nafs. I ask them to show me the canonical ahadith wherein Jihad an-nafs is exemplified. Each of the major collections has a book of Jihad, I invite you to search them for examples of the greater Jihad.

legal definition Accordinng to The Reliance of the Traveller, Jihad is war against non-Muslims. I am unable to explain the omission of 8.12, 60 & 9.5, 29 & 123.

O9.0: Jihad

(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.

``We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.''

The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as:

-1- ``Fighting is prescribed for you'' (Koran 2:216);

-2- ``Slay them wherever you find them'' (Koran 4:89);

-3- ``Fight the idolators utterly'' (Koran 9:36);

and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

``I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah'';

and the hadith reported by Muslim,

``To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it.''Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent others to fight, himself remaining at Medina, and these were forty-seven in number.)

injured or killed How does one suffer injury or death in the struggle against his ego and temptations?

3:139. So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.

3:140. If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allâh may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allâh likes not the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers).

3:141. And that Allâh may test (or purify) the believers (from sins) and destroy the disbelievers.

3:142. Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allâh tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.)?

3:143. You did indeed wish for death (AshShahâdah - martyrdom) before you met it. Now you have seen it openly with your own eyes.

3:144. Muhammad () is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allâh, and Allâh will give reward to those who are grateful.

3:145. And no person can ever die except by Allâh's Leave and at an appointed term. And whoever desires a reward in (this) world, We shall give him of it; and whoever desires a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give him thereof. And We shall reward the grateful.

purpose of Jihad In 3.141, Allah declares two purposes of Jihad: to test the Muslims, separating believers from hypocrites, and destroy disbelievers. In 9.33 he declared another purpose: to make his word superior; so that Islam will dominate the world.

There is a fourth purpose, which Muslims do not want you to know about. It is not explicitly declared in the canonical texts, but it is exposed to those who know where to look for clues.

One crucial hadith has been bowdlerized from the on line version of Khan's translation of Sahih Bukhari. Aisha Bewley did not bowdlerized it, but does not provide named anchors so I can not link directly to it,.

It is mentioned from Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant himpeace, "My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement andhumility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command." Chapter 61. Book of Jihad and Military Expeditions

That saying means that Moe got his living with his spear, and not by hunting wild game. When Moe commands you to convert or pay extortion, you will be humiliated and abased if you refuse. Ibn Hajar confirms the fatal fact in Fath al-Bari. Google Translate does not work well with Arabic, but the text in the red box is clear enough.

extortion` Most of Moe's extortion letters are ambiguous, leaving the details to the imagination. One of them stands out for its extreme clarity. Pay extortion or get plundered.

Volume 1, Parts II.73.3

They said: The Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him, wrote to Yuhannah IbnRubbàh and (other) chiefs of the people of Aylah: You are safe. I praise Allah beforeyou; there is no God but He. I will not fight against you unless I write to you (inadvance). So, join the fold of Islam or [P. 29] pay the jizyah. Obey Allah and HisApostle and the messengers of His Apostle, honour them and dress them in niceclothes, other than the uniform of the ghazis. Provide Zayd with good clothes. If mymessengers will be pleased with you, I shall also be pleased with you. The jizyah is aknown thing. If you like that, peace might prevail over the land and sea; you shouldobey Allah and His Apostle. You will not be required to pay dues you have beenpaying to the Arabs and the 'Ajamis, and you will pay the dues to Allah and HisApostle. If you send them (my messengers) back and do not please them, I shall notaccept anything from you, and shall wage war against you and make your youngones captive and shall stay your elders. Verily, I am the Apostle of Allah tocommunicate the truth. I believe in Allah, His Books and His Apostles. I believe inMasih Ibn Maryam (Messiah son of Mary) who is His word, to be His Apostle. Cometo me before you face the evil. I have given advice to my messengers about youraffairs. Pay three wasag (Wasaq is a camel-loadequal to sixty sa`s, each sa` beingequal to four mudds, and each mudd is equal to 1-1/3 lbs., thus a wasaq is equal tonearly four maunds of Pakistan.) of barley to Harmalah. Verily, Harmalah hasrecommended your case. Had there been no Allah and this (recommendation) Iwould not have had any correspondence with you and you would have seen armiesmarching against you. If you obey my messenger, verily, Allah is your defender and(also) Muhammad and those who follow him. Verily, my messengers are Shurahbil,Ubayyi, Harmalah and Hurayth lbn Zayd al-Tá'i. If they conclude a treaty, I shallapprove of it and you will be under the guarantee of Allah and Allah's ApostleMuhammad. Salàm to you. If you obey, you should arrange provisions for the peopleof Maqna to go to their land.

spoils of war To whom do the spoils belong? To Allah and his Messenger. How many captive women can a stone idol rape? How many stolen sheep, goats, camels and dates can a stone idol eat?

8:1. They ask you (O Muhammad ) about the spoils of war. Say: "The spoils are for Allâh and the Messenger." So fear Allâh and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), if you are believers.

8:41. And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allâh, and to the Messenger, and to the near relatives [of the Messenger (Muhammad )], (and also) the orphans, Al-Masâkin (the poor) and the wayfarer, if you have believed in Allâh and in that which We sent down to Our slave (Muhammad ) on the Day of criterion (between right and wrong), the Day when the two forces met (the battle of Badr) - And Allâh is Able to do all things.

Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4327 :The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.

motivation Allah tells us what he wants: genocide, and what Moe wants: ransom money. The price of Moe's admission to the celestial bordello is great slaughter, but he is more interested in ransom for captives. Allah wants to get Moe into Jannah with genocide.

8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

confirming Shari'ah Al-Sayir: The Institutes, the ninth book of the second volume of Hedayam lays out the laws of Jihad according to the Hanifi school of Islamc law. While liars assert that Islam forbids attacking innocent people and fights exclusively in self defense, Hedaya sets the record straight: not believing in Allah is an evil which must be extirpated by death or converion to Islam. Infidels may be attacked without provocation. War must be carried on by some party of the Muslims at all times. If Jihad is neglected in any year when it is possible, all who know of the obligation are in sin.

The widows, orphans and property of infidels are plunder for Muslims, but they want us to believe that Jihad is purely for Allah's good pleasure in making Islam rule the world. Jizya is a species of punishment for infidelity; a payment in lieu of destruction . Pagan Arabs are not eligible for Jizya, they must be converted or killed. http://www.archive.org/stream/hedaysorguide00hamigoog#page/n153/mode/1up

Prayer: to whom & for what? Remember what Moe wanted fron 8.67, "the good of this world", meaning ransom money? Bear that in mind while reading this quote from The Life of Muhammad. The quote begins at the bottom of page 510.

one whom I do not suspect told me from 'Atl' b. Abfi MrmEn al-Aslami from his father from Abn Mu'atiib b. 'Amr thnt when the apostlelooked down on Khaybar he told hts companions, among whom 1 was one,to stop. Thrn he sad:'0 God, Lord of the heaves and what they overshadow7i7 And Lord of the lands and what they make to growAnd Lord of the devils md what into error they throwAnd Lord of the wind. and what they winnow,we ask Thee for thr good of this town and the good of its people and thegood of what isn in it, and we take refuge m Thee from its evil end the evilof Its people and the evil that is in it. .Forward m the name of Allah' Heused to say that of every town hc entered.

http://archive.org/download/IbnIshaq-SiratuRasulAllah-translatorA.Guillaume/IbnIshaq-SiratRasulAllah.pdf#page=280

Moe prayed to the lord of the devils, asking to be given the people of the town and their property as plunder. At the battle of Badr, he prayed to be given the Meccan caravan "as a prey". At Khaybar: He said: '0 God, You know ,their condition and that they have no strength, and that I have nothing to give them, so conquer for them the wealthiest of the forts with the richest food '

the good news According to Tafsir Ibn Kathir, the good news is that Muslims will conquer the people of the book, the known world and the entire world.

http://www.islam-universe.com/tafsir//48.49630.html http://www.islam-universe.com/tafsir//2.3156.html http://www.islam-universe.com/tafsir//3.9075.html

fight who? "who are fighting them" "those who fight you" "those who have disbelieved" "those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been

forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture"

"those of the disbelievers who are close to you"

Three out of five direct references command Muslims to wage war against disbelievers with no mention of being attacked first "Those who fight you" can mean those who defend themselves when you attack them. Al-Mizan is a Shi'ia tafsir which explains 8.12 & 9.29 and 2.190 in the same context. Read it here.

This verse is similar to the verse: And fight with them until there is no mischief (disbelief), and the religion be only for Allah; but if they desist, then verily Allah sees what they do. And if they turn back, then know that Allah is your Master; The Most Excellent Master and the Most Excellent Helper (8:39-40).

This verse shows that it is obligatory to call them to the right path before the war. If they accept the call, there will be no fighting; but if they reject it then there is no Master except Allah, and He is the most excellent Master and the most excellent Helper; He helps his believing servants. It is known that fighting is prescribed so that the religion be only for Allah. Such a fighting cannot be started until the adversaries are first invited to come onto the right path, i.e. the religion based upon monotheism.

Some people wrote that this verse was abrogated by the verse: Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, from among those who were given the Book, until they pay the jizyah (tributory tax) with their hand while they are in a state of subjection (9:29).

But there is no question of either verse abrogating the other, because they deal with different subjects. The verse under discussion is, as explained earlier, about the Meccan polytheists and does not cover the People of the Book who are referred to in verse 9:29. And the religion be only for Allah means that idol worship be abolished and the oneness of Allah be accepted. The people of the Book do believe in One Creator, We know their belief is in reality disbelief as Allah says that they: do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth. But Islam is content with their mere profession of monotheism. Fighting with them was ordained not to make them believe in monotheism, but simply so that they might pay tribute to the Muslims, thus raising the true creed above their creed and making Islam victorious over all religions.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir is a standard Sunni exegesis. See how it explains 9.29. Read it all here.

This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the Book,... Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination.

semantic game Words mean what Muslims want them to mean, not what we assume them to mean.

"Islam forbids killing innocents" "Terrorism is harram."

Who is innocent? Only Muslims. Everyone who does not believe in Allah is waging war against him; a rebel who deserves to be killed. 4.92 explicitly prohibits killing a believer. Muslims quote 5.32, which mimics the Talmud, equating killing an individual to genocide but they never quote 5.33 which proscribes hudud for "waging war against Allah and his Messenger". That significant term is defined by Tafsir Ibin Kathir to include disbelief.

Everyone who does not believe in Allah and submit to Islam is liable to be executed. Scroll up and re-read pages 212-216 of Hedaya, with close attention to the highlighted paragraphs.

terrorism is a sacrament "We shall cast terror " "I will cast terror" "Allah... cast terror" "He cast terror"

terrorism is an imperative "to strike terror" "to terrify thereby"

terrorism is a deed of righteousness . .."nor they take any step to raise the anger of disbelievers nor inflict any injury upon an enemy but

is written to their credit as a deed of righteousness."...

Moe was a terrorist ..."you (believers in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in

their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh."... "Allah made me victorious by awe" "I have been made victorious with terror"

To see more detail, including brief quotes from and links to the Sira, which show how Moe cast terror into the hearts of his victims, see this blog post: http://crusadersarmory.blogspot.com/2014/02/terrorism-cannot-and-should-not-be.html .
