Reservoir thrashed Power House bymore than 22 goals causing Houseto drop from second to third . Theirplace has been taken by Assumption,who finished 38 points ahead of Fair-field .

St . Kilda CBC doubled Old Hailey-bury's score and National Bank andOld Xaverians won easily from OldMelburnians and CommonwealthBank respectively.

St. Pat's kept their chances alivewhen they scored a shock win overleaders, Old Brighton, the margin be-ing 9 points, and Brunswick (second)went down to La Trobe Blacks by 15points .

Parkside beat St. Kevin's by 16points, Alphington also still in therunning had 17 points to spare fromHampton Rovers, who dropped downinto the relegation zone as a resultof Old Geelong's 6-point win overFootscray ITOB in a high-scoringgame (20-13 to 18-19) .

Marcellin beat Old Ivanhoe bynearly 8 goals and State Savings Bankcrushed Glenhuntly by over 13 goals.Old Ivanhoe's defeat cost them secondplace, Bank moving up to that posi-tion. ANZ Bank scraped home fromAMP Society by 2 points (19-12 to 18-16) and AJAX easily beat West Bruns-wick, to keep within striking distance .

Old Camberwell overwhelmed Mon-ash Whites to score by more than 16goals and St . Bede's trounced OldMentonians by almost 10 aoals .

Monash now have only a slenderchance of making the four, as doNorth Brunswick .

The top four in Junior Section 1are still equal on points, with OldScotch the only other contender for aplace in the finals . Their hopes didn'timprove when they suffered a 21-point defeat by St. Bernard's, andthey are now two games out of thefour.

The "hopefuls" in Section 2, Too-ronga-Malvern and Old Brighton,didn't improve their chances either,as the top four all gained the fourpoints . Tooronga-Malvern actually

lost ground, failing by 27 pointsagainst Caulfield . With Old Brighton,they are now eight points outside thefour.

In the Reserves, North Old Boyshanded out a 16-point defeat to Or-mond, who hold top place now onlyon percentage . Power House crashedagainst Reservoir and Fairfield wentdown to Assumption by 5 points .

Parkside beat St . Kevin's by 4 goalsand Alphington beat Hampton Roversby a goal . Old Ivanhoe scored a bigwin over Marcellin, Monash Whitessuffered their first defeat for the sea-son when they went down to OldCamberwell by 17 points and Elstern-wick beat La Trobe Reds by 39points .

AGE, HEIGHT, WEIGHTClubs likely to be taking part in

Semi-Finals and Finals are requestedto furnish the Age, Height and Weightof players from whom the teams forthese matches will be chosen, as soonas possible.

The information is required NOTLATER THAN MONDAY, AUGUST14th, but earlier lodgment would beappreciated .

Clubs with Senior and Reserveteams both in the Finals are request-ed to furnish separate lists, showingin the Reserve team list only thoseeligible to play with the Reserves, andomitting from the Senior list thoseplayers who have no chance of beingselected in the senior team . It is under-stood that there may be a few playerson both lists in these cases, however .

Lists must be in NUMERICALORDER, NOT ALPHABETICAL, andmust be in the correct sequence -No., NAME, INITIALS, AGE, HEIGHT,WEIGHT.
