Colonnization; Is when a group of people go to another land and take over.

The Colonizers will often oppress, enslave or kill the people they encounter in a new land.

Historically, European Countries are the biggest colonziers-they kill,enslaved and and oppressed far more people than any other group

The Spanish colonized Latin American, the English Colonized what is nw US, the Frenched colonized what is now Canada, and the Portugueses colonzied what is now Brazil.

The English only stole land and brought women.

There was no desire to take indians as slaves because Africans were brought as slaves

The Colonized always come to speak the language and convert to the religion of the colonizer
