JessicaRhodes’ eponymous debut album seamlessly incorporates her own brand of real and raw pop, with diverse influences from such artists as Fleetwood Mac, Carole King, The Brand New Heavies, Emeli Sande, Tracy Chapman and Joss Stone.

Jessica and her band have played in excess of one hundred shows across the UK in the past twelve months, raising funds and awareness for their

music. They have performed at prestigious venues including Knebworth House, supporting artists such as Labrinth, Tynchy Stryder, Iggy Azalea and Ocean Colour Scene.

Previews from the album have already received airplay on BBC West Midlands and BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.

THE BAND

Jessica first collaborated with songwriter Luke Skidmore and drummer Oli Tabor in 2011, developing songs around great lyrics and tight rhythms.

They recorded their studio album with producer Matt Butler (Paul McCartney, John Martyn…), who kept their music as raw and authentic as possible during sessions at A.I.R and Rockfield Studios.

“Our individual diversity played a big role in the sound and direction of the album. I am a classically trained pianist and vocalist; Luke is completely self-taught with strong influences from American singer-songwriters; and Oli plays in a Gospel church!”

“Playing together every single week is the best job in the world so it felt natural to record most of the album in the same manner - completely live. It was the only way that could really capture the essence of who we are and what we’re about.”

Jessica has extensive experience as a public figure, modeling for international brands and clients including MAC Cosmetics and TONI&GUY. She encompasses versatility, bringing the look, the sound and the personality into each aspect of her career.
