At Cru managed global platform roll-out of online stores in UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. Solved numerous complex e-commerce, B2B and logistics problems associated with luxury goods (fine wine) sales and distribution across the world. Executed acquisitions in UK and Hong Kong.

As founder and CEO build and sold international e-commerce drinks retailer (Slurp.asia). Ran US Sales & Trading convertible bond trading desk at Deutsche Bank (2003-2005).

Responsible for risk-managing US$4 billion of risk assets. Head of Global Convertible Bond Research at Deutsche Bank (Institutional Investor ranked) 1995-2001.

Part of Institutional Investor-ranked convertibles bond research group at Goldman Sachs. Appointed Head of Policy Groups for UK Conservative Party in run-up to 1997 General Election

within Conservative Research Department. Completed PhD at Oxford University in less than three years.

- Cruworldwine.com is acknowledged as one of the world’s most innovative and technically-advanced premium drinks retailers and B2B wholesalers in the world.

CEO / CTO: SLURP (UK and Hong Kong) 2008 - 2013

- Founded and grew online wine brands Slurp.asia (HK) and Slurp.co.uk (UK) to a US$10 million+ turnover business (2013). Project managed bespoke ecommerce platform, acting as Chief Technology Officer.

- Slurp’s Asian business sold to Cru in 2013. Slurp UK acquired by SH Jones Ltd. (June 2013).

- 2001 - 2003 - Head of US Convertibles Research – research on US convertibles securities, working with traders and equity capital markets. Developed US convertibles web-based trading and research platform.

- 2003 – 2005 - Head of US Convertibles Trading – (Managing Director) ran an OTC trading team of 7 traders and managing risk for portfolio of US$4 billion convertible securities.
