AdaptingTo create a fun learning environment I would create a jeopardy review game.Students will group in teams of four or five, based on class size
I will insert categories for my social studies class such as:
US States
Continents
Countries
Capitals
Landforms
![Page 3: Jeopardy lesson plan](https://reader036.vdocuments.mx/reader036/viewer/2022083109/58ed0fb41a28ab707f8b472b/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
Adapting continued Lower Level Questions● Students will receive easier questions for the 100 and
200 level questions, these questions will have been extensively covered in class and kids will have prior knowledge.
Example: I am the Capital of Ohio.
● 300 Point questions will be a little less detailed and require students to think a little bit harder
Example: I am the smallest of the 5 Oceans.

Adapting Continued: Higher Level QuestionsThe four and five hundred level questions will make the students critically think in their groups to get answers.
Example: These four continents touch the Pacific Ocean
Example: These United States border Mexico
Students will be given time to collaborate with teammates to come up with their answers

Students RoleStudents will be able to go up to the Smartboard and select which question they would like to attempt after discussing with teams they will write their answer on a sheet of paper and reveal the answer on Smartboard.Students will add or subtract from their score based on if they answer correctly or not.

BenefitsWhen the game ends the winning team will receive a bonus point for their efforts. This will incentivize students to prepare!
Actually going up to the board and choosing new questions will engage students more than just a powerpoint!

Supporting Universal DesignThis lesson plan will allow students to learn in their own way by collaborating with others. It gives students a chance to learn in a new way that is different from sitting in the class room. The interactive SmartBoard will also make this game more appealing to students.
