Before

Diversity
• At El Dorado, KS I worked with lower economic status. The majority of the students I worked with had parents who were in El Dorado correctional facility. There were mostly white but a few were Hispanic.
Diversity
• At Union 6th and 7th grade center I worked with a predominately Hispanic community.
Diversity
• As required by NSU I had three internships. – The first one was at Keystone Elementary working in a
rural community with 3rd grade students. – The second internship was at Inola Middle School
working in a small town with 5th grade students. – The third internship was at Jenks Middle School working
in a large town with 8th grade in social studies.
Diversity
• At all of my internships I worked with a variety of students ranging from poverty level to upper class. White, African-American, Hispanic, and Asian-Americans. I have even made a brochure about diversity that is attached to the next slide.
