Finishing Pumpkin1a. With WS out, align 2 sections with fastened off ends together. With remaining strand, sl st seams together. Make sure to work hook through a total of 4 loops of the sl sts on eachpiece to join. 2a. Repeat for each section joining a total of 5 seams. 3a. With WS out, use your fingers on the inside to push out as you heat each section, to help form the curved pumpkin shape. Trim excess strands EXCEPT for 1 strand. Turn RS out. 4a. Stuff with bubble wrap in each section. 5a. read tapestry needle with remaining 1 strand and sew seam together joining sl st loops together. If needed, sew top and bottom opening together.

StemWith B yarn, ch 2. Rnd 1: 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Place marker and move up with each round.Rnds 2-6: Sc in each st around.Rnd 7: 2 sc in each st around. (8 sc)Rnd 8: 2 sc in each st around. (16 sc)Fasten off. Leave about 10'' (25cm) tail strand for sewing to pumpkin.

Finishing Stem1b. read remaining strand from bottom of stem with tapestry needle and sewto top center of pumpkin. 2b. To create vine effect, thread an arms length of B yarn. Beginning at the base of the stem, sew wide to small satin stitches along one of the seams. Repeat 1/3 around along another seam, twice.
