Greetings!
I am glad I was able to meet many of the 4-H families during the county fair this year! Hopefully I can continue to get to know you all more as the weeks go on.
Congratulations to those selected to exhibit static projects at the special addition Iowa State Fair. Good luck to you and all those exhibiting livestock!
I want to give a BIG shout out to our wonderful intern, Hallie Sandeen, for the amazing work she did for us this summer. She worked hard and was always a positive bubbly gal we needed in the office. We will miss her greatly as she goes back to Iowa State University to continue her studies in Agronomy. Thank you, Hallie!

The Purpose of a Record Book?
The purpose of 4-H record keeping is to
reach how to keep records, which is an
important life skill. Record keep is an on
going process that does not end when the
4-H year ends. Learn to set goals, learn
record keeping and organizational skills,
learn to communicate, responsibility of task
completing, and to evaluate information
that will market personal skills. Record
books can be applied to be recognized for
county and state level awards!
