Intersection of NW Green Hills Road and NW Menninger Road

Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas

The Department for Corrections owns 94.95 acres of farm ground at the

intersection of NW Green Hills Road and NW Menninger Road in Topeka,

Shawnee County, Kansas. This land has been determined to be surplus and is

intended to be sold via auction in late October.

This land is currently under an agriculture lease which will expire on December

31, 2014. The lease will be honored by the new owner.

The land is made up of eight parcels, some are platted but most are not. There is

a cemetery located on one of the parcels. The Department of Corrections will

retain ownership and maintenance of the cemetery.

The handouts I have provided are from the Shawnee County Appraisers web site

and from the required survey.

The Department of Administration is supportive of this property sale.
