The Club, at Greater Noida. It was a grand salsaparty and witnessed participation from a numberof salsa dance lovers across Delhi & NCR.

The two days fun-filled event hosted salsaworkshops where teams from various salsaschools across India held workshops and had fine performances in the evening. The crowd had a pleasant surprise when MonaliThakur sang to the ‘Zara Zara Touch Me’ tune.Over 400 people enjoyed the party all throughthe night with DJs, dance and music.

NCR saw the finest super cars on April 24 and 25, 2010 congregate at Jaypee Greens for The ‘Giantti Super Car Marathon 2010’. The event was organized by Cannonball Club, Mercedes-Benz and Jaypee Greens.

The rally was organized to bring together all the members of the club and showcase the various super cars such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Rolls- Royce. On the second day, a rally was held where over 20 super cars participated. The 40 km drive was flagged off from Aman Hotel and culminated at the Jaypee Integrated Golf course at Greater Noida.

The BILT Open 2009, the BMW Golf Tournament, The McDowell’s Signature ClubGolf Tournament and the PSPB Inter-Unit Golf Tournament were some of the major tournaments that were hosted at Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida.

Jaypee’s new 2 x 660 MW Nigrie Super Thermal Power PlantOn 30th October 2009 the foundation stone laying ceremony of Jaypee’s new 1320 MW Super-critical technology boiler, pit head based thermal power plant was held at Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of the state, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The expected date of commissioning for Unit - I and Unit - II of this project are April 2013 and September 2013 respectively.

Jaypee Group and L&T sign agreementThe Jaypee Group has entered into an agreement with L&T-MHI Pvt. Ltd. (JV between L&T Ltd. and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited, Japan) for supply of super-critical, environmental friendly, energy efficient boiler, turbines and generator (BTG) packages for its super thermal power project at Nigrie village in the Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh.
