STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING PULI-LAGAW 2010: A Javellana Reunion November 7, 2010 Okay everyone, “Javellana clans”, here’s the latest update on the reunion in December: Schedule / Requirements : Dec 26, 2010: 3:00 PM (optional) Holy Mass / Wreath-Laying Ceremonies at Ancestors’ Tomb What we need to do : 1. Ask permission to hold special garden mass beside ancestors’ tomb. 2. Schedule / book a priest for this date (maybe Auntie Gemma can do this?) 3. Inquire rental charges for chairs (maybe 30pcs?) from funeral services of cemetery (who can do this?) 4. Table/altar for priest 5. Mass paraphernalia (priest can bring own) 6. Flowers, etc. for offertory (same ones we will lay at ancestors’ tomb) 7. If we cannot have the mass at the tomb site, is there a chapel nearby? 6:00 PM (optional) Welcome Dinner for Javellana folk already in town. What we need : 1. 1:30 PM GAMES (4 games) Theme: Pinoy Children’s Games of the 60s and 70s Game Masters: Roy and Ada Loredo What we need: 1. Names of games and props needed. 2. How many teams / participants per game? 3. Donations for game prizes 4. Others, etc.

Other Important Notes:

1. Depending on update, re Tatoy’s rates, we expect the cost per head to be somewhere between P500 – P600, including lunch, merienda, IDs, etc.

2. Children 7 years of age and below are excluded from the headcount. Not required to pay. 3. Yayas and Nannies are included in the headcount. Payment is required. 4. Once a final amount has been determined, we would like to request all to deposit your payments into an

account that will be set up for this. (details to follow) 5. We need the funds for down payments, and event materials. 6. A Collections Committee should be set up per clan, so it will be easier to monitor and follow up payments.
