Jason Joel Desrouleaux better

known by his stage name Jason

Derulo, is an American singer-

songwriter and dancer. Jason

Joel Desrouleaux was born on

September 21, 1989 in Miami,

Florida, to Haitian parents.

Since the start of his career

as a solo recording artist in

2009.

Jason Derülo has been

performing since the age of

five and wrote his first song,

"Crush On You", at age eight.

He spent his youth in studies of

opera, theater and ballet. He

graduated from the American

Musical and Dramatic Academy,

New York.

At age 12, Derülo met his future

manager, Frank Harris, a student at

the law school, who was helping

him improve his basketball skills.

His style is pop.
