●Two Japanese companies ”Chatani CO&Ltd.” and “Toyotomi Co&Ltd.” donated more than 1,000 cooking stoves for IDPs in the Kurdistan Region in cooperation with the Chihan Group.

●A Japanese leading clothing company “Fast Retailing”, famous for its brand “UNIQLO”, donated 29,000 winter clothes to IDPs for alleviation of cold in cooperation with the EoJ and the Japanese and Iraqi NGOs.

●Japan Football Association (Vice President Mr. Tashima) donated 50 soccer balls to orphans and IDPs to encourage their daily life.

(※CMAC is a Cambodia’s leading autonomous national demining organization established in 1992. Their activities include : mine/UXOclearance, risk education, training , survey etc.) (※ Since 2009, 856 Officials of Ministry of Interior, including police officers have got trained in Jordan in the fields such as: ① investigation of terrorist groups and

organized crimes, ② cyber crimes, ③ strategic security planning, ④ techniques of tracking the financial assets for terrorism and money laundry and have got trained in Japan in the fields such as ① counter international terrorism, ② organization management for senior police officers.

● Training in JordanResponding to the request by Ministry of Interior of Iraq, Japan (JICA) has created six special training courses on IED clearance as part of assistance for stabilization in newly liberated areas. Total 36 trainees received trainings during Oct. 2015 – Jan. 2016. ● Cooperation with Cambodia Mine Action Center (CMAC) The delegation (Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Environment and KRG) visited CMAC in November, 2015 and a CMAC delegation will visit to Iraq in next May for discussion on future cooperation.

●Japan funded USD 868,041 to the Intl. NGO “Mines Advisory Group” for explosives clearanceequipment aiming at the early return of IDPs to their homes in Rabeea, Sinoni and Zummar.
