When we were part of the PCUSA, we used to pay a specified amount (called per capita) to the denomination for every member on our roles. Now that we are part of a new denomination (ECO), we no longer have a per capita obligation, but we are required to send a certain percentage of our annual budget as an assessment to support the work of ECO.

Fortunately, the amount that we have to send to ECO is significantly less than we used to send to the PCUSA. The last time we paid per capita it was about $34.00 per person.

In order to meet our obligations to ECO, we would need every household to contribute $32.00 to the denomination. Some of our members calculate the per capita amount into their giving to the church and others pay the per capita as a separate payment.

If you would like to contribute to the ECO assessment, we recommend that you make out a check for $32.00 with ECO assessment in the memo line and send it the church office or put it in the offering plate. Thank you.
