Dear Parents:

I would like to take this time to thank all of our Parkview families for their generous support of our Tree of Warmth this past December 2017. Just before our winter holiday break, our school community of students, parents and staff filled our Tree of Warmth with scarves, mit-tens, gloves and hats for families in need. All donations have been sent to benefit families in need of assistance.

This year, Kindergarten Registration will take place from February 20th to March 2nd. The open house will take place on Wednesday, February 21st. Please contact our school office if you have any ques-tions regarding Kindergarten Registration.

Sign in Procedures

To help our school run smoothly and securely, students who are late for class MUST be checked into the office before going to class. We ask parents to sign their children in so that we can keep accurate rec-ords of who is present or absent that day. When picking up your child early or dropping off lunches/belongings, please continue to come into the office. We will page your child to come down. This helps ensure that our students can continue to focus without interruptions.

Safe Arrival and Departure As you are aware, the drop off and pick up of the children can be a little hectic. To ensure safe arrival and departure, we ask that parents park across the street and walk your child to the playground.

PLEASE BRING A PAIR OF SHOES TO KEEP AT SCHOOL FOR THE

WINTER MONTHS. IF YOUR CHILD LIKES TO PLAY IN THE SNOW ,

SNOWPANTS MAY ALSO HELP THEM STAY DRY.

Boston Pizza Readers of the MONTH

We will provide the student with a coupon for a Kid’s Meal at the Manning, or Walker Rd. Boston Pizza locations. Con-gratulations to our Readers of the Month for December.
