PRESIDENT’S NOTES

First of all I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope that the new year will be a good one for every-one. We only have one thing left ahead of us this year and that's our Christmas party. This is a can't miss event. The Garage sale that we had on Nov 14th went better than I had anticipated. I learned a long time ago that you either lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way. I sat on the back row and watched a real pro at work. Thank you Pat Schirmer for a very suc-cessful garage sale. Thanks also for our helpers, Vee Brown, Shirley Anderson, Millie Deets, Barb Weber, and Amber Cox. And thanks to the guys that were there and didn't get in the way. The sale netted a couple of dol-lars short of $950.00. See you at the Christmas party and the next meeting in January.

Mark Kidd Howdy all y'all LARC members, Our esteemed Editor reminded me it's Activity Report time again so here goes... Stuff we did-------- Had a Great Garage Sale, made excellent money for our club coffers so a big ol round of applause for those who donated items, hauled items, handled items, sold items,or had any other thing to do with items, And es-pecially to Pat Schirmer for getting this all set up, Thanks for what you did for the club Pat.... The only other thing we've done is meet for breakfast on Wednesday mornings at Storms in Burnet...... Stuff we're gonna do.... We are going to our LARC Christmas Party Extravaganza Dec. 12th. at The Meadow Lakes Country Club, Starting at 6:pm with a social hour and open bar, then a wonderful buffet at 7: pm and y'all know from last year how great the food is !!!!!!! .... After the party we don't have anything scheduled until the next Friday Night Fever..... o I say Merry Christmas Happy, New Year also Happy Birthday to all of us born in December.... One other thing, A Great Big ol Heartfelt Thank You to all the club members that give their time and effort to make this the great car club it is !!!!!!!!!!
