Happy New Year All,
Special thanks to Mickey Agnello and Jo Ann
Ward for co-chairing our Women’s Christmas
Party. It was a wonderful night enjoyed by all
who attended. Our Woman of the Year for 2014
is Mickey Agnello. She is at every woman’s
organization function helping with cooking, setting
up, cleaning and co-chairing as well as for the past
several years co-chairing the club Christmas Party.
We are all very thankful for her generosity and
time given to Sandy Beach. She is well deserving
of this award. Our first meeting will be held
Thursday, January 8 at 6:30 pm. This is a closed
board meeting. Our meetings are the second
Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm. All the
women of the Sandy Beach Women’s
Organization are encouraged to attend. If you are

Greetings and Happy New Year! I want to thank the board of directors and general membership for giving me the privilege and responsibility of managing the bar as your rear commodore for 2015. I am already off to a good start with over twelve members who have offered to serve on the bar committee.
As the bar is your bar, lounge, and entertainment area, I want to make this as user friendly, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible. I first need your ideas and thoughts. I developed a short survey to see what we can either, change, leave alone, or improve to make the bar better. Please review and complete the attached survey to let me know your preferences and/or ideas. I would like to collect responses by the end of January. Thanks.

From Wayne Dubrawsky
Emil Dubrawsky, my father, passed comfortably, December 11, 2014 after a short stay at Mercy hospital. He was almost 94. A WW II and Korean War veteran, he retired from Chevrolet Buffalo Gear and Axel plant where he worked in production management. Also surviving are his daughters Donna (Phil) Mangano and Joan (Don) Mariea and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Dolly, in their Pennsylvania hometown. A memorial service tomorrow was held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12 noon in the Event Center located in the Commons Building at the Fox Run in Orchard Park, where he resided the previous five years.
Sad news at anytime of year, but especially at this time. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the entire LaRussa family.
LaRUSSA – Eleanore A. (nee Hamilton) “Ellie” December 21, 2014, beloved wife and best friend of Donald for 63 years; loving mother of the late Gerianne, Gary (MaryAnn), the late Michael (Suzanne) and Daniel; devoted grandmother of Jennifer (Mark Felschow) and Thomas; adored great-grandmother of Michael and Marky; dear sister of Robert (Judy) Hamilton. Ellie is survived by her “Boys”, Cody and Hudson, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. Ellie sold jewelry at the Super Flea Market on Walden Avenue for 25 years. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday 3:00-8:00 PM at the KEVIN M. MASON FUNERAL HOME, 154 Weimar Street (at Casimir St.). All are invited to assemble at the Church of St. Casimir on Wednesday at 9:00 AM for Ellie's Funeral Mass. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Linda and I wish to thank our SBYC family for all the prayers, words of encouragement and expressions of sympathy we received following the death of my father. It meant so much. Thanks, Wayne Dubrawsky
