Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 274,831, up 2% compared to February 2014; American Airlines passengers totaled 127,144, down 1.5%; United Airlines passengers totaled 125,997, up 26.5%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 92,720, up 17%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 36,165, down 16%; U.S. Airways passengers totaled 36,078, up 12.5%; Virgin America passengers totaled 11,491, up 91%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 11,274, down 7.5%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 8,860, up 2%; British Airways passengers totaled 6,482; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 6,697, up 27%; and Texas Sky passengers totaled 202. Record breaking passenger count this March at Austin’s airport

AUSTIN, TEXAS – March 2015 set a new passenger record with 1,006,899 traveling through Austin-Bergstrom. Events in Austin, including the SXSW festival, contributed to the monthly passenger record being set and bringing ABIA its second 1 million passenger month in airport history. The previous monthly record of 1,006,417 was set in July 2014. Austin’s airport has experienced passenger growth 62 of the last 63 months, since January 2010. Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for March 2015 was a monthly airport record 1,006,899, up 7% compared to March 2014. March 2015 enplanements totaled 502,130, up 6.5%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 365,899, up 7% compared to March 2014; United Airlines passengers totaled 173,205, up 1.5%; American Airlines passengers totaled 171,578, up 4%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 123,988, up 11.5%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 58,595, down 14%; U.S. Airways passengers totaled 45,858, up 23.5%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 18,773, up 21%; Virgin America passengers totaled 15,111, up 91%; British Airways passengers totaled 10,993, up 53%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 11,560, up 79%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 10,587, up 7%; and Texas Sky passengers totaled 325. Another record breaking month this May at Austin-Bergstrom AUSTIN, TEXAS – May 2015 set a new, monthly passenger record with 1,022,353 traveling

June 2015 busiest month ever at AUS AUSTIN, TEXAS – June 2015 set another airport monthly passenger record with 1,088,399

traveling through Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. This is the sixth monthly record to be

broken in the past 16 months and the fourth 1 million passenger month in airport history— third

of this year. The previous airport monthly record of 1,022,353 was set in May 2015. Austin’s

airport has experienced passenger growth in 33 consecutive months, 65 of the last 66 dating back

to January 2010.

July 2015 traffic soars 16%

1.16 million travelers break record for third straight month AUSTIN, TEXAS – July 2015 set a third straight airport monthly passenger record with

1,165,811 traveling through Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, up 16% from a record July

2014. This is the seventh monthly record to be broken in the past 17 months. Previous airport

monthly records were set in June 2015 (1,088,399) and May 2015 (1,022,353). Austin’s airport

has now experienced passenger growth in 34 consecutive months and 66 of the last 67 dating

back to January 2010.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for July 2015 was a record 1,165,811, up 16% compared to July 2014. July 2015 enplanements totaled 585,478, up 16%.
