    And he sees the wandering to be a great attainment.

    And from Allah is the oy of the lovers when

    $e addresses them from above and greets them with %alam.

    &either shall darkness cover their sight nor shall they tire.

    %o ' what a glance which gives a brightness to the face,

    Can the enthralled lover ever forget after that(

    And by Allah, how many fair )maidens*, if one were to smile,

    %he would radiate light brighter than the break of dawn.

    %o how great is the enoyment of the ears when she speaks.

    And ' what timidness like a soft branch when she leans near,

    And ' what bashfulness when she smiles.

    %o if your heart is afflicted with love for her,

    There is no cure except to consummate with her,

    +articularly in her kiss when she embraces you,

    As her wrist rests against your neck

    hen she unveils to him the beauty of her face,

    $e will take pleasure in that before they have even consummated.

    The eye delights seeing her.

    )Also* There are all manners of fruit which never go out of season.

    Bunches of grapes and apples of the garden,

    And pomegranates, all manner of fruits enthralling the heart.

    And roses adorn its fields

    And wine is passed around to taste.

    All manners of beauty are gathered together,

    ' what a wondrous gathering it is.

    !t has many types of beauty which altogether

    -ake it impossible to forget.

    emember ar/ahman who is watching always

    %o pronounce Tasbih without stuttering,

    %o that whenever you face the army of despair

    !t shall turn back on its heals van0uished.

    %o ' you who would propose to the beautiful maiden,

    !f you desire, then now is the time when the dowry must be prepared.

    %o once the vigor of youth passes from him

    $e knows for sure that he shall not reach decrepit old age.

    $ate all those women who are treacherous to her love,

    Then you will attain her rather than them, and thus attain happiness.

    Avoid all those besides her for indeed it is

    "or the likes of you alone that she waits in +aradise.

    And fast the day nearest to you, perhaps tomorrow

    1ou will enoy the 2!d of "itr while the people are fasting.

    And go forward, be not satisfied with a base life,

    &o one attains pleasure without effort.

    And if the whole world should be restricted for you

    And you should not even a known place to stay.

    Then come to 3ardens of 4ternity,

    "or they are our first dwelling places and they contain many pavilions.

    e are prisoners in the hands of our enemies5 do you think

    e shall return to our lands have peace(

    They claim that when the stranger goes out

    And his lands are far away, he becomes infatuated )with it*

    hat strangeness is greater then ours

    "or which the enemies have taken every measure against us.

    Come to the marketplace where the lovers meet,

    That is the place that is known for them.

    hatever you like, take without payment

    "or the traders have all made advance payments and given up their goods.

    And come to the 6ay of !ncrease in which

    The Lord of the Throne shall visit, that is a holiday#

    Come to a valley that is vast

    !ts dirt is greater than the fragrance of musk.

    +ulpits of light you will find there and silver

    -ounds of musk set up as sitting places

    "or those who are beneath the owners of the pulpits.

    %o while they are busy in their oys

    And their sustenance comes to them,

    %uddenly there is a piercing bright light

    "illing the far corners of the 3ardens

    The Lord of the $eavens -anifests $imself for them openly

    $e loves from above $is throne and then $e speaks,

    7+eace be upon 1ou,8 as all of them hear

    ith their ears $is greetings of peace when $e greets them.

    $e says, 7Ask me whatever you wish for all that you

    ish is with me and ! am -ost -erciful.8

    They all say, 7e ask 1ou )1our* +leasure

    "or 1ou are the 'ne who owns all that is beautiful and shows mercy.8

    $e grants this to them and they all bear witness

    That Allah )-ost $igh* is -ost 3enerous.

    %o ' you who should sell this for a measly price hastily given

    !t is as if you do not know5 indeed, you shall know#

    distance that !ould be tra"elled in a thousand years.

    And if you ask about its tents and encampments, then one tentis like a concealed pearl that is si#ty miles long.

    And if you ask about its towers, then they are rooms abo"e roomsin buildings that ha"e ri"ers running underneath them.

    And if you ask about how far it reaches into the sky, then look atthe shining star that is "isible, as !ell as those that are far in thehea"ens that the eyesight cannot possibly reach.

    And if you ask about the clothing of its inhabitants, then theyare of silk and gold.

    And if you ask about its beds, then its blankets are of the %nest silk

    laid out in the highest of its le"els.

    And if you ask about the faces of its inhabitants and theirbeauty,  then they are like the image of the Moon.

    And if you ask about their age, then they are young ones of &&years in the image of 'dam, the father of humanity.

    And if you ask about what they will be hearing,  then it is thesinging of their !i"es from among the Hoor al-'Ayn, and better thanthat are the "oices of the 'ngels and the Prophets, and better than

    that is the (peech of the )ord of the *orlds.

    And if you ask about their servants, then they are young boys of e"erlasting youth !ho resemble scattered pearls.

    And if you ask about their brides and wives,  then they are youngand full-breasted and ha"e had the li+uid of youth o! through theirlimbs the (un runs along the beauty of her face if she sho!s it, lightshines from bet!een her teeth if she smiles if you meet her lo"e, thensay !hate"er you !ant regarding the oining of t!o lights he sees hisface in the roundness of her cheek as if he is looking into a polished

    mirror, and he sees the brightness from behind her muscles and bonesif she !ere to be unleashed upon the *orld, she !ould %ll !hat isbet!een the ea"ens and the /arth !ith a beautiful !ind, and themouths of the creation !ould glorify, praise, and e#claim greatness,and e"erything bet!een the /ast and the *est !ould be adorned forher, and e"ery eye !ould be shut from e"erything but her, and thelight of the (un !ould be outshone ust as the light of the (unoutshines the light of the stars, and e"eryone on the face of the /arth

    !ould belie"e in the /"er-)i"ing, the 0ne !ho (ustains and Protects allthe e#ists.

    'nd the co"ering on her head is better than the *orld and all that is init, and she does not increase !ith age e#cept in beauty free from an

    umbilical cord, childbirth and menses, and pure of mucous, sali"a,urine and other %lthy things her youth ne"er fades, her clothing isne"er !orn out, no garment can be created that matches her beauty,and no one !ho is !ith her can e"er become bored her attention isrestricted to her husband, so she desires none but him, ust as hisattention is restricted to her so she is the sole obect of his desire, andhe is !ith her in utmost safety and security, as none has touched herbefore of either humans or  Jinn.

    And if you ask about the Day of Increase  1in re!ard2 and the "isitof the all-Mighty, all-*ise, and the sight of is 3ace - free from any

    resemblance or likeness to anything - as you see the (un in the middleof the day and the full Moon on a cloudless night, then listen on theday that the caller !ill call: 'O People of Paradise! Your Lord - Blessedand Exalted - reuests you to isit Him" so #ome to isit Him!' (o they!ill say: $*e hear and obey4$

    5ntil, !hen they %nally reach the !ide "alley !here they !ill all meet -and none of them !ill turn do!n the re+uest of the caller - the )ord -6lessed and /#alted - !ill order is 7hair to be brought there. Then,pulpits of light !ill emerge, as !ell as pulpits of pearls, gemstone, gold,and sil"er. The lo!est of them in rank !ill sit on sheets of musk, and

    !ill not see !hat those !ho are on the chairs abo"e them are gi"en.*hen they are comfortable !here they are sitting and are secure intheir places, and the caller calls: 'O People of Paradise! You $ae anappointment %it$ Alla$ in %$i#$ He %is$es to re%ard you!'  (o they !illsay: $'nd !hat is that re!ard8 as e not already made our facesbright, made our scales hea"y, entered us into Paradise, and pushed usa!ay from the 3ire8$

    'nd !hen they are like that, all of a sudden a light shines thatencompasses all of Paradise. (o, they raise their heads, and, behold:the 7ompeller - /#alted is e, and oly are is 9ames - has come to

    them from abo"e them and maesti%ed them and said: 'O People of Paradise! Peace be upon you!' (o, this greeting !ill not beresponded to !ith anything better than: $0 'llaah4 ou are Peace, andfrom ou is Peace4 6lessed are ou, 0 possessor of Maesty and onor4$(o the )ord - 6lessed and /#alted - !ill laugh to them and say: 'OPeople of Paradise! Where are those who used to obey Mewithout having ever seen Me? This is the Day of Increase!'

    (o, they !ill all gi"e the same response: $*e are pleased, so bepleased !ith us4$ (o, e !ill say: 'O People of Paradise! If I werenot pleased with you I would not have ade you inhabitantsof My Paradise! "o as# of Me!' (o, they !ill all gi"e the sameresponse: $(ho! us your 3ace so that !e may look at it4$ (o, the )ord -

    Mighty and Maestic - !ill remo"e his co"ering and !ill maestify themand !ill co"er them !ith is )ight, !hich, if 'llaah - the /#alted - hadnot *illed not to burn them, !ould ha"e burned them.

    'nd there !ill not remain a single person in this gathering e#cept thathis )ord - the /#alted - !ill speak to him and say: 'Do you reeber the day that you did this and that?' and e !ill remind him of some of his bad deeds in the *orldy life, so he !ill say: $0 )ord4 *illyou not forgi"e me8$ (o, e !ill say: 'Of course! $ou have not reached this position of yours %in Paradise& ecept by y forgiveness('

    (o, ho! s!eet is this speech to the ears, and ho! cooled are therighteous eyes by the glance at is 9oble 3ace in the 'fterlife...

    )"oe faces that Day will be shining and radiant loo#ing at their *ord(((+  1al-&iyaama$:;;-&2

     The idea and estimate of ea"en, and at that the Paradise !hich !ill

    be gi"en to the 7hief of the Prophets, the Pride of the T!o *orldscan be had from this that the lo!est man amongst the occupants of Paradise !ill get a garden ten times bigger than that of this !orld./ntering Paradise he !ill glance right and left and seeing the gardens!ill ask: A3or !hom are theseA8 e !ill be told that they are for him.

    *hen he !ill proceed further, a red ruby or a green emerald !ill bebrought before him in !hich there !ill be se"enty houses, each ha"ingse"enty rooms and each room ha"ing se"enty doors. e !ill be told:ABo on reciting and climbing,A until he reaches his masnad 1throne2 on!hich he !ill sit and recline. Then his houris !ill come to him. Theircondition !ill be such that one of them !ill come and sit do!n beforehim on the throne. (he !ill be !earing se"enty suits of clothes, each of a dierent colour, and she !ill be so beautiful that in spite of those

    clothes her esh and blood and bones, e"en bone-marro!, !ill be"isible. This lo!ly occupant of Paradise !ill ask her: A*ho are youA8(he !ill say: AI am the houri !ho had been preser"ed for you till no!. Then he !ill continue making amorous glances at her for forty yearsand !ill not !ithdra! his e"es from her.

    C(he is beautiful !ith big lustrous eyes. ' "irgin as if she is an emerald.

    (he has lo"ed no one and !ill lo"e no one but you. (he !as created for

    you and only you. If her %nger appears it !ould o"ershado! the moon.

    If her bracelet appears in a dark night, it !ould lea"e no darkness in

    the uni"erse. If her !rist appears, it !ould take a!ay the mind of e"ery

    sane human being. If she appears bet!een the hea"en and earth, the

    distance bet!een them !ould be %lled by her scent, and if she spits in

    the oceans of the !orld the salt !ater !ould turn fresh. The more you

    look at her the more beautiful she becomes. The more time you spend

    !ith her, the more you lo"e her.

    Does it make any sense to learn about such a !oman and not try to

    meet her8 *hat about !hen you learn that you !ill be married not toone, but se"enty t!o of the oor4E
