More scientifically adaptable research platforms (vessels/ROVs/AUVs/HOV) management expected based upon projects

for site surveys, for shallow samplings, etc

for more collaboration with international partners

More close communication between engineering development and platform operation

Efficient and effective platform management should be available within the 7 years term

Increase commercial usage using ships idling time like Chikyu operation

More internationalization requested by the JAMSTEC Advisory Board

Share R&M information and materials among platforms to

reduce cost of all

Be more internationalize on platform management in JAMSTEC.

Collaborate with not only academia but also commercial companies on

engineering development and platform operation

IRSO is/will be a appropriate place to share information and discussion.

more concrete reborn plan in JAMSTEC will be

presented in the next IRSO meeting. Im very sorry

for my urgent schedule change.
