Exodus 33:19, John 17:11, Romans 7:18,
Genesis 1:31, Genesis 3:3-5, Matthew 7:9-11,
Romans 8:28
And the LORD said, "I will cause all
my goodness to pass in front of
you, and I will proclaim my name,
the LORD, in your presence. I will
have mercy on whom I will have
mercy, and I will have compassion
on whom I will have compassion.
"Now I am no longer in the
world, but these are in the
world, and I come to You.
Holy Father, keep through
Your name those whom You
have given Me, that they
may be one as We are.
I know that nothing good
lives in me, that is, in my
sinful nature. For I have
the desire to do what is
good, but I cannot carry it
out.
God saw all that he had
made, and it was very
good. And there was
evening, and there was
morning--the sixth day.
but God did say, `You must
not eat fruit from the tree
that is in the middle of the
garden, and you must not
touch it, or you will die.'"
"You will not surely die,"
the serpent said to the
woman.
"For God knows that when
you eat of it your eyes will
be opened, and you will
be like God, knowing
good and evil."
"Which of you, if his son asks
for bread, will give him a
stone?
Or if he asks for a
fish, will give him a
snake?
If you, then, though you are
evil, know how to give good
gifts to your children, how
much more will your Father
in heaven give good gifts to
those who ask him!
And we know that in all things
God works for the good of
those who love him, who
have been called according
to his purpose.
